Just curious: anyone in recruiting or know of this, do your organizations screen social media sites like Facebook, twitter etc, for candidates before hiring them?

My current engagement partner and hiring partner are vacationing together on a wine tour and posting about it on Facebook when I need both of them to review the proposal I'm writing for them 🙄

All I want is a data scientist role at Facebook !! Is it too much to ask for? 😭

Why are so many people primarily referring to Facebook as Meta now? For example, I’ve seen LinkedIn headers changed to “[position] at Meta”. No one did this when Google became Alphabet.
