Did anyone make a transition from being an MBB data scientist to a FAANG data scientist? 1. How did you differentiate your value proposition? Given the solid technical bar, does consult and business skills create an advantage? 2. How do you feel about the change? 3. Any tips on the preparation process? #FAANG #EXIT

What percentage of salary increase should I expect when promoted to senior associate for someone joined through campus recruiting?
I had an interview two weeks ago for a position I really like. But no answer since then. Is there still hope? (anyone with similar experience with AKQA HR?)
Did not make Google hiring committee due to 2 borderline interviews. Phone interviewer (American guy) gave me a strong feedback, 5 on site interviewers, 2 Desi guys gave me borderline feedback, remaining 3 American guys gave me strong feedback. Google requested a follow-up interview and the additional interviewer provided good feedback as well. I am not sure what's wrong with me, every time I interview with desi interviewer, I tend to screw things up.
Potential transfer from an internal finance role at B4 to ACN digital finance strategy. For background I’m a third year project controller at B4. My friend is referencing me for the consultant position at ACN. Is it worth the shot given I don’t have client facing experience? If so, any tips on how to brand myself without that experience?
Guys, my friend has been selected as 'Cloud Operations Senior Analyst'. What is this role about? What is to be expected? In her interview, interviewer spoke about Splunk, CA UIM, CA APM and CA Spectrum being the tools she will be working on. She is very confused, please help her to understand this. Accenture India
Need help in transitioning to Tech - I'm M2 and been in consulting for 4 yrs. Primary role Functional / BA and have done PMO work. What can I do to make my profile attractive to tech companies?
NYC Slalom 🐠🐠 - are you hiring for anyone with <3 YoE? Couldn’t find anything online and haven’t been able to for awhile
I just realized that my base salary is only 8k more than the new hire I am training. My base is 56k, his 48k. I’ve been with this firm for 2.5 years, had two years experience as an intern coming in, and am licensed. The new hire is 5ish years younger with only his bachelors, no experience. Is this normal?? I know our firm is trying to get more help but they don’t seem to care about keeping good workers. I do end up making 70k w/ overtime but still!
Currently make 75k in a low cost of living area as a government employee. Big 4 tax background with 5 years experience. Currently working in regulation. I have an opportunity to move back into tax but the catch is it’s in San Francisco. Offer is 130k with a target 10% bonus and 5% pension contribution. Based on my pay and what my spouse could make in SF the pay differential would be a slight decrease based on COL. I’m not seeing a bright future in my government career due to continual budget...
There is a good chance I may be promoted to Sr Manger this year, but I am not sure what salary I should be expecting? Can anyone give me an expected range of salary that I should be expecting for a first year Sr. Manager? Audit western United States.

Should more people on Wall St have gone to jail for their role in causing 2008? Curious to hear from people in the industry!
First time trying the market, been in consulting 7 years since undergrad. looking at getting an offer soon from a late stage start up that will have an equity piece of compensation. How do I even know what to expect or ask for? Is there a baseline % of base pay or something that you expect to get in equity? Sorry for dumb questions but I’m just trying to not leave anything on the table.
Would you make a switch: 8 YOE, MCOL (Texas), currently a M at 165k base + 10% bonus. Up for SM this year Offered director level - 200k base + 25% bonus + relocation to HCOL (Boston) Company is growing and the job matches what I want to do in industry but I'm not sure if the pay makes sense with the COL difference
A&M fishes do you feel pressure while taking vacations as your comp is tied to billable hours? Also what’s the policy on remote work, can people work from another country (eg. Canada or Europe ) for a few days if they are supporting during US work hours. Big 4 is strict about international work location, so just curious.
I have worked in the HR space for the past 9 years, however most of my experience has been in Talent Acquisition. I do want to move into a People Operations/Generalist role. I’m planning to go for a HR certificate but unsure if I should go for a PHR or SHRM. Please advise!

Is it a good idea to tell you recruiter at the start that you have other interviews going on? Or do you tell them at a later stage

EY 🐠, I don’t have access to the bowl yet so im posting here. For the remainder of 2020, how do we block off PTO, and do we have to get it formally approved? Or is there’s some scheduling/availability application that I log into and mark days as PTO? We didn’t really approval at Deloitte, you just told your team you’re taking off these days and you Mark it in Mysource. Also, since PTO isn’t accrued anymore, whats stopping you from having a negative balance going into 2021?
