I wish I wasn’t adaptable. Humans aspire for a greater level of comfort and once achieved, adopt that as their new baseline. Because of this, somebody making $100k cannot simply comfortably revert back to a $50k lifestyle. The slow growth of personal wealth isn’t noticed as ideated. Instead, we are never satisfied.

I have 2 offers. One is from The Boeing Company and the other one from Deloitte. I got 100% hike from Boeing and the role is better, so I accepted it.

I told Deloitte the truth that I have accepted another offer, but they are asking me to reconsider. Deloitte told me they will match the offer. I also felt that they are in position to offer something significantly higher.

I would appreciate suggestions on how to tackle this situation.

I applied for a BA position at UBER and they short listed my resume and sent me an assessment test. I gave the test and I am assuming I will score not more than 50% in it. Will I be selected for next round? What is the criteria generally?
