I’m looking to exit B4 audit to transfer to B4 FDD/TAS. Has anyone made this move? Advice for interviews? I am not a CPA, however would consider pursuing my CFA. Is there a license requirement to make manager at the B4?

I am currently a biomedical engineer at @U.S. Food and Drug Administration with over two years of experience. I would like to hear everyone's experience navigating the GS increase (salary raise) as a government employee. Here are some questions for discussion. How long did it take you to be promoted to the next pay grade? What do you think contributed the most to that salary increase? Advice on managing up / enduring toxic deal teams? I’m at the point where my stomach drops any time I see something come in from certain people. HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? Have cleared HCL interview. Initially they offered 23 lpa (via proposed offer letter, to be approved by L4), but i requested to reconsider it for 25 lpa. After 5 days, they sent final offer letter of 19 lpa (stating they can offer max 50% as per L4 approval).

I don't have any other offer as of now. What should I do?
