Hello! Looking for some guidance. I will soon be leaving Verizon after 15 years with them (6 years HR experience, 3 years Operations, 6 years leadership). The last HR position I held will be eliminated and I was offered a severance. I am now in the market for a new place of employment I can call home. I was thinking of trying for a start up. But the likes of Google, Adobe, etc. also seem appealing. Would you recommend a start up as my next endeavor? I enjoy helping build processes and policies.

After graduating with my MBA with a focus in project management, I moved organizations to go from an EMR education manager to a full time project manager specializing in EMR implementation projects. I have a contact who is a hiring mgr at a company I want to work for. He told me he has an open role for me and set me up with 6 interviews over a 2 week period. They all went really well and HR said I’ll most likely be moving forward to a site visit. But now my contact has ghosted me. After I made 3 outreaches he had his aa schedule time for two weeks out. I received a take home case study for a strategic finance position. They gave me historical statements for the last 3 years (quarterly) and asked for insights/observations and opportunities/trends. I’ve been working as a contract TAS for 6 months in a medical device company. I started part time and as it became busier/my trainer quit, I became full-time. I applied for the TA position through corporate and would like some insight. the company is short staffed and my site specifically does not have good TA retention. For the salary expectation, I put in 85k which is in the range. I’m currently at 64k which is below the minimum of the range. Is this realistic?
