How many hours are you IBD guys REALLY working. Everyone says 80+ hours but never seem to be around when you need them

What does the long-term career progression look like, both salary and title-wise, for someone looking to get into FP&A-type roles? Can you at some point land roles that involve financial/corporate strategy? One test away from getting the CPA and looking to get roles outside of standard corporate accounting.

In the process of interviewing for a strategy/Corp dev position at an activewear/athleisure company and they want me to think of a couple tangential industries that may have companies for acquisition and do a write up. I’m stumped on what else an activewear company would buy besides other activewear companies. I can only think of home fitness (Lulu’s Mirror) or vitamins/supplements. Any thoughts?

Is it worthwhile to get an MBA as a tech-leaning consultant (data scientist)?

Not sure if this is the right forum but - my H1B extension has been approved (just got to know today) but my driving license will expire soon. Can my license be renewed without the original extension petition? Or do I need to wait for the originals to come in. Trying to understand what do I need to carry to the DMV. Based in CA. Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.
