As an experienced, SHRM certified HRBP , I would just like some feedback on your opinion of the differences in the roles between an HRBP an HR Manager besides the obvious that the manager should have direct reports. I am an HRBP and work in step with 3 HRM’s. They all 3 just got out of cycle raises of between 5-20% 😳 and I received nothing. I am quite aware of our HR code that salary is confidential but I was told about this. Would you be looking for other employment? Or stay?

I feel like my boss never joins my working call with my stakeholders, is this normal in big tech, like they don't have time to sit in the same meeting with you to understand and course correct your working styles? Like I am supposed to take the whole lead from day 1 independently.

For those who separated from Deloitte in May / June and are still looking for a new role, how are you broaching the employment gap with new employers? It’s now September and I’m still looking for a new role. I feel like each passing day speaks to an employment gap, which may deter future employers.
