I think you should negotiate - especially if you feel that you have opportunities to apply for other roles. Associate producers are under 2y of experience. Look for producer roles and drop that associate. It could hold you back unless you think you could grow fast in the new company. And follow your gut. If you love the place and can negotiate to a place you’re comfortable with.
Thank you! I was very unsure if I should be considering myself for mid level producer roles because of my years of experience. But I am very confident I could do the job of a mid-level producer.
Is this salary an increase to what you make now? It’s not bad for an associate. Is there opportunity to advance to the next level at this new shop? What are the clients like? And yes, you should be looking for full up Producer roles. This is the next level from associate/junior producer. Good luck.
Thank you for this! It is a a salary increasing but not by a large margin. The company interest me because of their type of clients that are in line with my future goals. The growth topic I feel like is the same across most companies, but I could be wrong. I am hoping to make the next step in roles soon.
