3 different recruiters called today - took a minute on each that none of them had a position but wanted to 'Get to know me'. This is why I won't do a phone call prior to them knowing my rates and it's ok for a job they will pitch. All 3 said it was important to check references, too. Who would actually give references prior to even having a position look at???

Too many cooks in the kitchen

I love my job in special education, the job may bring quite a bit of stress and exhaustion but nothing compares to the stress of the related service team. OT, PT, speech, BCBA, social worker, etc etc is really what’s killing me this year. It is 23 days into the school year and the team members all make different plans and as a result, nothing is being accomplished. And if paraprofessionals follow ie what OT says but not PT, it cause so much unnecessary conflict!
