3 years experience in b4 as a Senior auditor, just got laid off due to covid. About to go on one year mob for Covid. Do you think this one year employment gap would affect my job searching next year when I come back?

Been playing it cool because I know these things can take time, BUT, I just got let go from my current firm. I have til 12/15 to find a new job.

Do I tell her my timeline is now a month, or is telling them I'm getting fired going to tank my chances of getting the job?

If I went on active duty orders, can I use those orders to break my lease early without penalty?

For those of you who got out at 10, do you wish that you rode it out to 20? I’m at a crossroad and I’m not sure what to do.
