27 y/o manager and having what feels like a quarter life crisis. The consulting grind feels unsustainable for me long term, but I don’t know what else I would even want to do. I gave in my resignation with a 3-week notice period. Always got good feedback from my manager and we generally got along well.
Yesterday he made this comment in front of my team when he made the announcement. "Don't let the door hit you on the way out". In context we were discussing how to reassign my projects. He then laughed like it was a joke, and I didn't react.
Should I bring this up in a 1-1 meeting or let it go? Is this humour or plain sarcasm?
