34 weeks pregnant. Still pulling 50 hour work weeks. My feet are sausages. It gets better right? Just tell me it gets better.

Eventually you trade the sausages for bags under your eyes. Kinda of better. Kinda of worse. Like every phase of motherhood. Hang in there. Don't be afraid to ask for what you need.

Are you on your feet a lot? Have your ob say you need to work less due to swelling.

I worked about 60 hours a week through all three pregnancies, stopped working when ready to deliver. You do what you have to do. Prioritize eating healthy, get walking even if you don’t want to. I had to hold up my belly with one of them when walking she weighed so much.
I had to work, sole income earner in 2/3 kids.
I had healthy kids, you’re always tired, but the joy is worth it.
Stay positive, and just enjoy every day!!!

Has anyone been successful in negotiating the schedule on a global pregnancy bill? My provider won't bill by visit and split the global cost into four payments all due by the 28th week. I don't understand how that's legal since it is so off the calendar of services and crosses calendar years (and insurance coverage), where most costs are incurred at the end of pregnancy with increased visit frequency and delivery.

When did you decide to get medicated? I have what I’d call “high functioning” depression and anxiety. See a therapist and all, but still deal with lows that seem hard to overcome for weeks on end - losing interest, hard to focus on work, sleeping difficulties, etc. Hard to tell when to make that decision!

Hey folks - I have an inquiry on my credit for a gym membership I “failed to cancel”. I had previously left this gym as it closed during pandemic, and shifted to a new location. In doing so, I informed the gym I would be leaving. However, I recently checked my credit and saw that my membership had not been cancelled and had been sent to collections (prompting an inquiry and dropping my score).

Has anyone experienced this, and is aware of next steps to take here?

Stupid Question- We have been thinking for IVF and trying to understand with this process, is there any difference in the health and life of the child as compared to a child born without IVF. I did ask this with our doctor and he said casually its all same. This is not to question any doctor but just to really understand what is going to be different with the kid. This is not very old technology and not much studies as well.

Help me get over my covid anxiety: had plans with a friend but they got exposed to covid. Got a neg rapid test but feel like they have a sore throat and still want to hang. Given rapids don’t necessarily detect omicron plus the symptoms, I’m a bit concerned. I’m WAAAY more cautious than most when it comes to covid (not doing indoor events yet, still masking). We’d be outdoors anyways, so do I put my anxiety aside and risk it or ask them to get a PCR and just postpone to next week?

How do you cope when your employer rapidly descends into chaos from the top down? Today is my 2yr anniversary with this company. In the past 6mos, they have repeatedly changed directions / goals, pushing out several supportive and productive managers in favor of a single chauvinist overlord who makes HR violations daily and does no actual work. HR denies every complaint made against him and he retaliates to the point of firing people. Very hostile. How do I survive until I find my next gig?

Hi everyone,
My company had name change recently from ABC to XYZ , this was after my h1b approval. Since this was merely a name change the attorneys confirmed that no amendment is required. All my documents (i-797a, LCA,i-129) has old name - ABC but my employee verification has new name - mentioning XYC (formerly known as ABC)
My question is - which company name should be on DS-160
