No. Freedom is priceless!
Hell to the NO!! Your future is bright, you are just getting the hang of it, don't give up what you have built! Keep activity up and you will succeed. The future is so much better when you are building your own clients rather than letting the bank feed you. Be a hunter not a captive beast being held back from you max potential!

FA 4 would make an awesome motivational speaker! 😀
I wouldn’t even if you said 200 + bonuses...
Agreed
No way... you are on track to make way more than you ever will at Citi....
Leave indi for a 9-5? Hell nooo! Don't make that mistake. Freedom is the most valuable asset in life. Take the advise from someone who is still a 9-5 and regrets it every single day.
Nope- no way
NO.
Seriously? The sky’s the limit where you are now.
Keep your ownership and freedom. Continue to grow your book and higher help.
Ok I was 7 yrs in, making about $100k, owning my own book, but went to a super regional bank position. Not a banker position, still an advisor.
For all the reasons not to do it...4 years later I'm extremely happy I did. Not everyones journey is the same, and I encourage you to seriously understand both roles.
I probably wouldn't jump ship for a banker position, but keep your head up and keep grinding!
All things being the same from when you started in the business, Don’t do it. You’re just getting started! I really didn’t get it going until year 10-12.
I was making about what you are at year 8 and I have more than quadrupled my income in the past 10 years. That would have never happened in a bank channel.
Job security is gone. Go one quarter without hitting your numbers and they’ll let you go. Very few people, including very highly capable, people succeed in that position.
No way. It shouldn’t be hard to build up your book up to that level in a year or so if you really try. Plus, it’s Citi ha.
I work at a regional bank and would take slightly less to run my own book, get management out of my hair, and quit spending time doing pointless things that don’t add value to my clients. For me it’s a matter of when, not if, I go Indy. It just hasn’t been the right time for me in my personal life (young kids, partner who travels a lot for work).
You have a solid foundation in place to build off of.
Absolutely not
What’s the thought of not leaving? Just curious.
Any current benefits?
If you want the print of a global organization. Do you have to leave your current book?
Hell to the No!!!

I think it depends if OP is still growing or not. If he is having a difficult time growing at this point, I don’t think it’s a bad idea to consider a move.
