Too many people made their flight and didn't miss their connections
I got $1000 ..oversold by 11 haha
^one upper
Sweet. Anything under $300 isn't worth it to me. $900 is seriously compelling
I swear I have some coworkers that must make more off Delta vouchers/Amex cards than they do from their day jobs
You could have also had a change in equipment with less seats leading to an oversell
At the end of the day, they'll agree to pay you off for a "voluntary switch" up to the value of the fine they'd need to pay the gov't if you are involuntarily removed from the flight.
@booz allen 1 I took the offer at 600 (first one) but I still got 1000
I got $800 for voluntarily being bumped from a $200 economy ATL-ORD flight. 😎. This is honestly one of the things I love about Delta. United made me miss my connection and spend the night in DC coming in from Asia, and they only offered me a $400 voucher for a $4500 business class ticket.
Guess I got the shortend in united, but oversold by just one. $400
But a delta flight tends to be significantly more EY1 so it's not as bad as it seems
€600 for delay >4h (in Europe). I just hope to make it home for Christmas at this point!

Don't you get more when you wait longer and no one takes the offer? Like they say $200, wait 5 mins then it's $300? Is it worth the risk of waiting?
Let's just say I saw a few people walk casually fast...and I don't think it was to talk about flight times lol
I've never seen them offer more than 850
