A few months ago, I was promoted to Director. So, I'm still fairly new in this position. I think things are going well and all, but I'm about to take my first vacation since I received this promotion. How available do you think I should make myself? I would hate to spend a ton of time answering calls and emails, but I do understand I can't just disappear for a few days and hope my team figures things out on their own.

I have an offer from HCL and TCS Noida and KPMG Pune. Offer from KPMG being a slightly higher package. Pune is far from my hometown and Noida is Close. Can you please suggest will KPMG be worth joining as a cloud and DevOps Engineer ? Is there a chance of relocation later since now there was an opening just for the Pune location?

Job transition question: I recently accepted an offer for a new role with Merrill Lynch, the following day I was fired from my previous employer. I haven’t filled out the updated work history background check info yet. The reason for termination was due to performance expectations not being met. Should I reach out to my new employer and let them know that I’ve been terminated? Should I just put the termination update on the background check form and leave it at that? Wondering what I should do.

I have given 3 rounds of interview for the position of SE- B8 , i.e. Lead SE. Now in salary discussion round i asked HR for a CTC between a range of 31-34L. But they told me max they can give is 29.5L. I still did not accepted the initial offer from HR, it is going again one more round for salary negotiation after HR confirms the bracket from Business. I know Natwest dont negotiate once you accepted the offer. What CTC can i expect from Natwest for Lead SE.
