But seriously, I feel like most workplaces are the same... grass just looks greener on the other side

That's very true. And something I always keep in mind is that toxic workplaces are often created by specific personalities. In some cases, bad leadership can let those personalities fester. But toxic characters can emerge in any company. So you never really know what you're walking into. You can make an educated guess about company culture, but at the department level things could be different than what you expect.

There's ALMOST ALWAYS atleast one person that is toxic and over time it just spreads like a virus

LOL if this isn't the truth! I've changed jobs a few times over the past few years, and this is almost always my experience. I convince myself that things will be different this time around and am disappointed when they inevitably aren't.

Looking for referrals for a Technical Sales Executive position that is Remote (USA), possibly in the industrial sector. Last year I made $109k at AT&T so I'm hoping to at least stay in the same ball park but want a change. I have lots of experience selling IT/telecom, but I also have a Mechanical Engineering background so I'm a good fit for a wide range of technical sales. I have been thinking a role in the industrial sector with a longer sales cycle may be a good fit, can travel up to 25%

Hi! I had an interview from a company as a graphic designer. They have moved my application forward and gave me a designer task. I have been following up and they always said that they are still reviewing all the other task from the candidates. They said they will give an updates twice after following up every week. I had the interview and task 3 weeks ago. Do you guys think that I still have a chance?

Thank you ❤️

Our employee satisfaction survey is tied to our performance goals. Meaning, if we rate management badly, we cannot meet 10% of our goals which in turn affects our bonuses and raises.
