I'm a light sleeper who cares too much about the people around me, but I've got a flight to London next Friday from 7pm NYC time to 7am UK time, and I'd really like to master sleeping on a plane just this once and not be in jet lag hell for the entire day after I land. I'll be in premium economy in an aisle seat. I usually take melatonin before bed and sleep on my side. Does anyone have suggestions for an OTC sleeping pill or pillow that actually works, or other advice for sleeping on a plane?

One of my best friends growing up just passed away. We lost contact with each other a year or two after graduating high school and I recently came to learn he was was battling cancer the past 5 years and ultimately succumbed to the illness. He hid it well from everyone and led a very private life during it all. To make matters worse, he had just turned 25. Seeing pictures of the condition he was in towards the end of his fight broke my heart. I wish I had known so I could’ve been there for him.

I recommended a candidate for hire to a manager that reports directly to me. This person is a perfect match, but wanted the manager to obviously recommend. It has to be a fit. The manager just told me my recommendation is not her top pick. I feel frustrated because as much as we talk about the position, I wonder if we are mot aligned on criteria. What do I do? Do I push more for the person I want or will I cause an issue with the hiring manager? How do I get her to see this person’s value?

As a man are you looking for an extremely successful lady that is extremely career driven and willing to do whatever it takes to make it to the next level or are you more attracted to a lady that is happy at the level she is at and takes the next step as it comes? To put things into simple terms would you rather a 9-5 lady or a 9- whenever the job is done lady? Explain why please.
