Looking for advice fish fam. Deloitte vs EY-P. Same level - Manager/Director. EY-P pays $50k more for base and maybe $10 to $20k more as bonus. Currently at Deloitte. Is the extra $60-$70k worth giving up my network? Plan to stay in Consulting and hope to make SM/SD. I have a family and my wife is a homemaker. So money does matter. Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.

Took five days off. Came back to no meetings before 10am AND zero fires to put out. Regardless of what you think, your team can likely function a few days without you with the proper OOO plan. Take the time, get sane, work is not everything.

random ask, but if you work for MBB what title do you use for “ associate partner”. I understand at McKinsey it’s associate partner- partner- senior partner. But at BCG associate partners are called “junior partners” - would anyone be able to confirm this?
