How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.
What are the daily actual working hours?
Shall I join Citi or let go it for a lower package offer?
Seeking honest advice here.

It is also coz there is a difference in the number of people actually working and the number projected to the client. It often happens that the management says to the client that x number of people would be working on a certain project while the actual number would be x-4. Rest would be busy with some other project where it is the same case. So people basically get allocated for a different project and work on something different altogether.
This cycle goes on and on.
PS: This is not always the case. But it is one of the reasons why people have to extend their working hours.
Cause you will be working for clients.. And service based companies wanna show to the clients that they are going above and beyond to help them so that the clients don't move on to another vendor. So even though you charge in the service based company for 9 hrs, you are allowed the charge client for 8 hrs but in reality you work for 10 hrs or more. 😂
And no!.. No extra pay for overtime.. That's a fairytale.
Company bills their clients on hourly basis but employees aren't paid on hourly basis. Employees are paid based the package which would discussed before joining and that has nothing to do with client billing.
