A recruiter just told me I wasn’t a fit because I didn’t have experience with their proprietary system. Never mind that I’ve picked up new tools in days and even trained coworkers before. It feels like hiring is becoming more about checking boxes than evaluating real skill. When did the ability to learn stop mattering? Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere.
