I would avoid south and East of where you’re at and go north or south. Islington/central areas around holborn/Bloomsbury/fitzrovia tend to have better transport links and are really buzzy on the weekends. It’s more convenient for someone new to London.
East anywhere in Tower hamlets will be comparatively cheap, well connected and have dome bits going on. There are q lot of new build to rent developments like FizzyLiving popping up that are good options
Alternatively, South around Bermondsey, Canada Water etc isn't bad either - a bit more expensive though
Very helpful! Thank you!!
Feel free to DM if you have any specific questions :)
Further info: partner's office will be in Aldgate and mine near Cannon Street station.
