I interviewed for the position of Associate Human Capital Advisory role at KPMG. I cleared my first round but for the second round tgey gave me 2 case studies and one excel assessment to be completed in 2.5 hours. I think I messed up the case studies and just wrote the approach and recommendations but didn't include any other preferable portions. Is there a minimum cutoff for these assessments?

If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

I would stay a couple more months for the senior title, but you don’t necessarily have to stay another year. I’ve seen quite a few people leave for senior accountant positions before then
I think it’s easier to compete for a new job when you have the senior title. Not to say it’s impossible to get a new job, but you’ll find a lot more callbacks and a lot more options when you have that senior title.

Test the market now. See if you can get your 40% bump now instead of next year. If not, just keep looking. Nobody says you need to actually leave now.
