I’m a certified Health Coach (my training/courses are CCE-accredited by the International Coach Federation) w/ a BS in Psychology. I got a temp to hire starting at $18/hr. It is my first professional health coach job & they did not require temps to have a coaching certification, but I have one. I’d like to know if temps could negotiate salary when given the job offer. The position is remote & I’d like $20/hr. I’ve invested in myself as a coach & plan to complete board certification by early 2023

We use Deloitte India for a number of parts of our delivery. Recently I have seen some unethical practices that violate labor laws and do not align with Deloitte principles. Do you take the current economy into consideration when receiving job offers? For example you receive a good offer from a company like Meta/TikTok but are hesitant because they could be laying off soon or rescind an offer versus a lower offer at a more traditional and stable company that tends to be less reactionary with regards to layoffs? Bonus for EY S&O?

In my offer letter it stated a signing bonus to be paid on the first available payroll after my start date. Its been a month since my first paycheck and HR and the Payroll team are incredibly unresponsive to my inquiry on where this bonus is. What’s the next course of action? Legal? I’m not at ACN anymore so not looking for ACN-specific advice.

I’m currently an SA2 but was offering a 6 month rotation working on product strategy for the firm with a promotion to Manager. Recruiter explained that It’d be at the same base pay with the potential of a raise in June, would you take just a title bump?
