Anyone have experience working CWX side of Facebook (Meta) ? These are the full time contract roles that potentially turn into permanent roles directly with Facebook (Meta). Had a recruiter reach out and offering me comparable TC and such, just curious if anyone has experience in these roles and success/failure of transitioning into permanent role. Thanks in advance!

Nope
OP: I did this earlier in the year. My base was not impacted. However, if you move from a higher pay area to lower one you may find that your wage growth slows because you may be earning more.
A5, I think you need approval from your TFS, People Mobility, and your current project manager
Correct, self initiated moves do not get base salary bumps
I did not get my salary moved, but I was warned that if I was moving from NYC / SF -> a significantly less expensive area my salary could be adjusted
Also Accenture 2 is correct. My base salary increase in the future was stagnant since I was already on the high end of the scale for my new city
On this note, who do we need approval from to make the move? Anyone ever get rejected?
OP: A5 is correct; those people need to be aware and/or approve. My CC backed me on my request and I had one additional approval needed -- the NA lead of my OU. (That might just be my OU, though.)
If you have a strong story that supports the request you shouldn't have an issue.
Oops, that should be A5: OP is correct. Sorry about that.
Can someone explain to me the NYC salary adjustment we should be receiving? I don't think I'm currently getting it. How can I check?
@A6: did you relocate to NY at the firm's request, was it your request or have you always worked in NY?
I was an experienced hire and have been with the firm for two years. Was hired out of New York. My understanding is that with the global strategy salary adjustment that happened, I now make the same base as everyone at my level regardless of location
I can't speak to that as I am not part of strategy nor based in NY. You can ask your CC or submit a MyRequest, for a better answer.
