After 2 months of being recruited for a GSD role and ultimately being flown in to meet in person was given the feedback that I won't be hired because "lack of eye contact." Never heard this before. And I definitely gave as much as I was getting back from them. When getting this news I asked for more details (so if it is a real issue I might could learn something from it) as well as why they don't think it's something that's coachable. They couldn't provide an answer. Thoughts?

What happens if what the employee said is slanderous and a “he said/she said” situation? If you opt to share the feedback with the manager, would the manager have a legal case against the company or former employee?

1st year Assoc in a small comm lit firm with 6 attorneys. Sole proprietor partner who is early/mid 70s. Literally doesn’t have or use a computer(like ever🙄). He has to have EVERYTHING printed from him including his emails which he is CC’d on everything me and my coworker send out.
