Had a steamy dream about my manager last night and now I can't look at him the same.

On a project where my manager pushed me to get sign off by a deadline which wasn’t reasonable, so the final document didn’t go through a normal peer review process. Now I’m getting reamed out by the partner for an error while the manager is saying the deadline was “artificial” and “created by me”

God I hate consulting. Get me out.

What should I expect from my manager? I've stuck it out for a year now and all I'm ever told is to not make mistakes. Manager stated explicitly that he does not want to review or test my work. Any attempts at discussion of why I made a mistake are dismissed by him as me making excuses. I never get any positive feedback. I somehow manager to make it a few months without making any errors but I missed a small detail in a large project and my 1on1 went terribly because of it. Is this common?

What are your tips and ticks for dealing with nonresponsive clients? (Ex. Won’t return calls, emails, only answer half your email so you have to ask the other questions again). Finding it very time consuming to constantly be following up.

My ASM is lazy and is incapable of doing the easiest basic tasks with recruitment. She receives all my end of day updates, is cc’d on all emails, makes me fill out 5 repetitive excel/smart sheet, and joins all my meetings but she still wants to call having me 5x daily about updates. I’m always the one to go to if other recruiters fail to meet client deadlines and cleaning up recruiters mistakes. How do I even handle this to begin with?

I have 16 children, a minimum of 3 feet apart, no masks, with two LOUD air filters, two tiny windows open, the outside and hall door open, at average in 72-76 degrees. Does “property” means real-estate or bank account/stocks, etc as well.
