After 7 years of working at the same PA firm. I think im ready to try something new. But not sure where to start. The amount of recruiters contacting me is overwhelming and they mostly want someone for a tax position in public. So want to try job searching some other way. Anyone have any advice on starting a job search?

Spoke to hiring manager and they even offered another position which matched my skills. Scheduled a full panel interview. Met with the team had a great chat, Founder even said "I guess you can start right away"..Hiring manager calls later says they'll update then boom that generic email hits my inbox. I got interviewed at infosys two days back.
When can I expect to hear back from them.
Also all the questions that were asked to me were written coding questions(Write block of code) none were verbal.I could write all answers but none was 100% correct.

At last I asked the interviewer about feedback as in where was I wrong. He said at couple of places and he explained me where was I wrong.
