If I apply to a client for a job opening, will the client reach out to the firm for inputs?

Current CTC 20 fixed. YoE 11.
An offer HSBC is in pipeline ( 28 fixed as per Recruitment consultant). Position offered is Senior consultant specialist.
However I know that there is scope of pushing the offer till 36. Any inputs on getting the offer to desired figure would be helpful.

YoE 12.5, cctc 10.5 and holding offers till 23.5 fixed and few more in pipeline, expecting till 27 with 40 days left in np. I currently have two private industry senior tax analyst job offers. One is for a publicly-traded company which I will mostly be working on compliance and occasionally help with provisions. The returns are also prepared in-house. The other is not publicly-traded and I’ll be working on all aspects of tax such as compliance, provisions, and indirect taxes. But the returns are prepared by an accounting firm. Which job do you think will require more OT?

Any one works in a one man / one woman tax department? How do you effectively manage the relationships with outside tax providers, and with accounting/finance department inside of the company? I have multiple weekly calls with different teams from our CPA firm, with accounting/finance team inside, I tend to address issues as they arise. I was told I have been managing well, but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
