After a longggg search receiving an offer brought relief but also hesitation. The offer is maybe not entirely right for me but it’s also the end of a difficult process. Outside of this market I want to feel excited for a job not just like it’s good enough.

I’m a fifth year associate who is ready to get out of litigation (and private practice altogether). I’ve only ever done professional malpractice (legal, med mal, etc) and feel like those skills will not transfer as well if I had done transactional work. Men, how do you make yourself feel sexy and successful?

I feel like, I've dependend on my partners to validate me in those ways. But that makes me insecure & dependent on them. They loved me but idk if they "wanted/desired" me.

To feel sexy, I'm working on losing weight and then building muscle, but that'll take time and fade away with age anyway.

To feel successful, I mean... I have an OK career and savings, but I just don't identify either as success.
