Do some research on rates in your area, the scope of the role, and the company size. My biggest concern would be the loss of independence. After getting used to managing my own time and projects, it would probably take me a while to adjust to the structure of a full-time job again. I’m curious how others have made the shift from freelance to full-time (or the other way) and what strategies helped you adjust to such a different work style.
You're in luck! I wrote this article because I'm facing the same problem: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/real-cost-undervaluing-graphic-designers-data-driven-framework-brent-rmktc/
LinkedIn might be helpful. Search the job title, filter by location, and check profiles of people doing similar work. Some people list salary ranges in their posts or comments, and even when they don’t, it helps you sanity-check the level you’re being hired at.
