After being absolutely savages on glassdoor, my former agency managed to get a slew of glowing 5-star reviews in two days. This is clearly HR and/or management trying to bury the bad reviews. Do they really not think that prospective employees can see through this tactic?

That reminds me - I need to go leave a proper review for a former employer to warn others.

Glassdoor is like Yelp. Reviews will be catered to making the business look good.

Agency I used to work for did the same. Worst agency ever though. Just write the truth anonymously so ppl can see the truth.

I have got the ey hr mail stating i should provide him with aadhar card, information sheet and latest resume for a audit and assurance contract for 6 months as iam a semi qualified CA.

Here my question is should i take this opportunity. Cause since this is only for 6 months. After that, what i can do, where should I try to get the job?

Have an offer from a dream company but I'll need to go in at a lower level. Knowing that I can bring a lot of value to the company (read- I know my worth), I negotiated with the hiring manager to have a level/comp review 6 months after employment. If I hit all my goals (ie, prove myself) within that time frame, I'll get a promotion and salary adjustment.
QUESTIONS:

I’ve noticed that HR, when explaining why a candidate didn’t get the job, tend to lean on “You’re great, but we had candidates with more experience in [skill relevant to the job].” I do believe this is true in some cases, but it can’t possibly be for all of them.

HR folks — what feedback have you obscured by offering that line instead?
