AI interviewing seems like a completely unserious way to go about recruiting. I guess it would make sense if you are being cast in a reality show, but it seems like yet another waste of my time. They already have my tailored resume.

What is the value in even participating with a company that does "AI interviews"?

It seems like a red flag that they are so lazy in their recruiting. Will I be onboarded by AI too? Will AI be writing performance evaluations at this firm too?

I know, I feel the same, but so many employers using AI tools now, it’s unavoidable to deal AI somewhere in the process

I guess I assume that my resume is already going to be run through ChapGPT... this just seems like the company is getting a lot of free content to train its AI.

Also, I feel like they are using the interview video to train AI even if they don't hire from it... which just sounds like working for free, or a scam... depends on where you're from I guess.

Muahahahaha I actually love it

I don't see what value they provide anyone. Care to share? It just seems like another hoop to discourage applicants.

I have an offer for $130k for a senior attorney position in a boutique L&E firm. Also have a recruiter who thinks she can get me into another for $150-170k. Both are more than I’ve ever made (Denver, 17 yrs of experience but completely different practice areas). Any tips for countering the $130k offer for more using the other potential offer while not risking a complete withdrawal of the current offer? I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. Should I hold out for the offer or is 1+ week a sign that I won’t be selected?

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. Is this normal in the entertainment world? Any suggestions?
