AITA: coffee chat requester asked me to send him a calendar invite with zoom link after chatting for a while about the timing. I ignored them

I’m interviewing for BCG and had a principal reach out to me for a zoom chat. Is this normal for principals to reach out or is this a positive sign?

Is Integration Engineer position at Zoom worth joining coming from Software Engineer position?

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

How are you teaching middle or high school chorus in the fully virtual realm? I’m looking for new ideas and techniques. I hate that my choirs can only sing on Zoom with everyone muted...that’s the opposite of choral singing :-(

I love teaching art but am having to teach remotely to 1150 kids, k - 5. Have about 54 amazing elementary art teachers in my district that share SO much! Why did Toronto (or Canada?) change the exit signs from the classic red EXIT sign to the green running man? Wouldn’t it confuse more people especially elders in finding the exit?

I’m so tired of US companies hiring remote Canadian employees offering to pay a fraction of the price for the same role.

This is consistent across the majority of the tech companies. While I am looking to exit consulting, don’t want to be paid 50% of what my colleagues would be making across the border.

How did you deal with bad impostor syndrome when applying for jobs even though you know you are more than qualified?
