Anyone have any tips or ideas on how to collect money owed from a client? In a few months it’ll be two years since the debt was incurred. We send monthly reminders of the bill. It’s a significant amount (well to us) and the client is now starting to open up and telling everyone about the situation that we helped to resolve.

For RIG I applied through recruiter. For IoT DE I was contacted by an HR saying that it's no problem appearing for another interview unless i hear feedback from 1st one.

How do you cope when your employer rapidly descends into chaos from the top down? Today is my 2yr anniversary with this company. In the past 6mos, they have repeatedly changed directions / goals, pushing out several supportive and productive managers in favor of a single chauvinist overlord who makes HR violations daily and does no actual work. HR denies every complaint made against him and he retaliates to the point of firing people. Very hostile. How do I survive until I find my next gig?

Anyone wants to share how much it sucks to be on those state unemployment claims projects? You have to hear those jobless people complain all day everyday and they would yell at you if they are not happy with your response. The EY HR person would threaten to fire you if you ask to be off from it. I wonder if this is in violation of labor law.

There's an office 5 minutes from my house. But I've been commuting 45 minutes for 4 years since I've been hired. Hoping they move me soon. My wife works at a school with kids with behavioral issues. The kids are abusive to the teachers/paras and have hit, kicked, pulled hair, as well as have grabbed the privates of teachers/paras. Nothing is ever done about it by higher up. Recently, the principal got kicked in the leg, and it turns out that the superintendent is “pressing charges” against the kid, but won’t do anything for the teachers/paras. What actions can my wife and the teachers take if the superintendent won't do anything?
