Is anyone else unfollowing all “influencers” on Instagram? I’m finding their posts to be so out of touch with what’s happening across the global to people’s lives (both health-wise and economy-wise.) They’re still trying to push a more is better mindset. I get that’s part of their business model, but I just can’t take it anymore.

Looking for some mental health advice - I’ve been dealing with pretty debilitating anxiety/panic attacks for over 5 years. Finally started to get some help for it through medication, however the first 3 meds my PCP prescribed me (ssris) didn’t work. Because I haven’t deal with the anxiety it’s gotten really bad. Do I go to a pyscitatrist whose trained more in pharma or start with therapist. Have done therapy in past without much help.

Has any one went from reinsurance back to insurance? The money is great and all but the W/L balance isn’t. Has anyone else felt the same?

Considering leaving to take a partner position at a small firm. Is it worth it? Would only be 2 partners with a staff of 10. Comp would be 250k on the low end and probably top out around 350k. Would take 3-4 years to get to this level of comp as would be buying 10% per year up to 40% of the firm. Am I stupid for not taking this? Currently manager making 125k. Comp first year as junior partner would be 120k with 10% ownership.
