For the most part, yeah. Are you in the US? The majority of states have their minimum age to work as 14, although there are typically restrictions as to how many hours you can work a week. You can try your luck at retail stores or restaurants and see what's available. Did you have anything in particular in mind? Also why do you want to work so young?
You could look at museums, supermarkets, restaurants, local mom and pop stands, ice cream shops, hotels, and the list goes on. Look for everything and try everything. I started cleaning rooms at a local inn, became a dishwasher at a restaurant, worked at an ice cream shop, did guest services selling tickets at a museum, cashier or bagger at a supermarket.
Realistically at your age, you’ll be lookin’ at seasonal jobs to entry level jobs just to cut your teeth. Make a goal of where you wanna be in 5-10 years and then figure out the steps to get there. Be ok getting dirty and potentially experiencing some crappy job situations since the working world will not right off the bat respect a 15 year old and give them super important responsibilities
I'm not sure that you can get a sales job (maybe depend on what state you're living at), but you could definitely figure out some way to make money at 15. If you're not interested in the usual teenage jobs like landscaping, life guarding, and nannying, I'd recommend reaching out to a family friend or family member to see if you could help them in some kind of clerk capacity, organizing their personal or professional documents and files. That'd be some good office experience
Depends on the company really. I would look into age requirements before applying to places, but there absolutely are opportunities out there for younger ages. Any experience is great right now. I worked in the restaurant industry when I was young and you get a lot of great skills out of any job.
