While applying for visa my company quoted 80K as compensation. Now they want to reduce it to 75K.

Hey all! I went through the interviewing process with a company and we had a verbal agreement on X amount of salary per year. They liked me and extended an offer but the offer was for $15K less than what we agreed bc that’s what HR approved for. I was desperate so I took it. Accepting this offer meant that I had to relocate to the other side of the country. Omw that was 2500 miles, I received a call that they rescinded the offer. Recently started my own firm and interested in others thoughts. Are there resources out there for practical advice or is it only something that comes with experience?
