Amgen folks- kind of an embarrassing question to ask, but I’m starting a new role at Amgen soon. I’m a single parent and I’ve had a couple big unexpected repairs/expenses hit recently and I’m just trying to flush out my budget as I transition. So with that in mind- what’s the pay schedule? I know It’s bi-weekly, but when’s the next pay day? (Bonus points if you know what work-dates the pay period covers so I can suss out if my 1st check will be a full check or half a check.)

I’m a PV consultant, typically coming in as interim Heads of PV and helping clean up disasters. Considering going back into Pharma- what si the base salary of a Head of PV typically? I currently command $250-300 per hour

I am project manager in clinical research industry (CRO). After earning PhD, I gave up my science dream to take a more stable job. After slowly climbing the ladders, I feel like I finally got a seat at the table. Half the days I like the hustle, but now I miss being creative. I want to take more brainstorming, decision making responsibilities but I don’t see that in the career path for PM. Career path usually goes like this- Sr PM, Director, Sr Director, and so on. But all do same work.

Saw a job on LinkedIn applied for it and the CEO of the startup reached out to me saying he was game to move to the next stage of the process. Spoke to hiring manager and they even offered another position which matched my skills. Scheduled a full panel interview. Met with the team had a great chat, Founder even said "I guess you can start right away"..Hiring manager calls later says they'll update then boom that generic email hits my inbox. At this point you're just like arrrrrrgh😩
