Hi! After years of being a clinician (OT), I’m pivoting into project management. I’ve taken courses and worked on small scale projects outside of my normal role. I have found it difficult to secure a project manager role, but I did receive an offer for a project coordinator position within my organization, after a few rounds of interviewing. Here’s the issue- I expected to take a little salary cut, but not a significant decrease in pay. What is the median pay? My research says it’s about $85k

I left my job about a year ago to relocate, make sure it was the right decision and start a side business in the mean time. Now I’m actively looking for a new sales position, have tons of experience, but am struggling to even get a response from job apps. I am wondering if this is because of my employment gap? I don’t have my side business listed on my resume because I don’t feel like I have enough positive “stats” to report yet given it’s new. Any advice or recommendations?

Had a great initial chat with a recruiter who then scheduled a chat with the CD’s. I’m super excited except the salary the recruiter gave was lower than what I’m aiming for. Do I go through the interview and negotiate again after or is that number set in stone?

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. And when we ask her about it, she gets mad.

Looking to transition out of Management Consulting and going into big tech in NYC. Ideally, I would love to go in as a PMM; however I’ve heard it’s very difficult to make that jump if you don’t have a degree in engineering or CS (I’m a liberal arts graduate and in the final year of a part-time mba). Should I look to apply as a program manager role since it’s more likely my consulting experience will apply to that and see if I can transition into a PMM role from there?

I’m a first year analyst in RFA with deloitte and have really hated my experience so far. Both my projects have been a lot longer than they stated and I have learned 0 skills from either of them. I’m really just doing the same task every day and I feel like my undergrad degree is going to waste.
