Hi
I have a current CTC of 6.6 and Mastercard is offering 8.9 (including variable ) . I also have an offer from infosys of 10 ( including variable). Which one should I pick considering work life balance and appraisal. My entire doubt is that will they bring me on market rate after appraisals as currently they are not offering very good hike.

Wells culture, as with most banks, differ from group to group. There are changes happening with the new CEO. Culture will improve, speed and urgency are shifting. Except a good amount of turnover over next year as these changes replicate through. Joined WFC about a year ago from B4.
Yup, I'm in that group of former EY FSO. My best experiences have been with folks in CIB (investment bank).
I would recommend Wells Fargo as last choice as work culture and career growth scope here is minimal.
Thanks WF2! How long have you been there? Can you elaborate on work culture and growth opportunities? Have heard similar feedback from lot of others here
I would recommend Wells as a last choice. Probably BOA over Truist - because Truist culture is going to be pretty challenging with the long-term alignment relayed to the merger.
🤷🏻♂️
Truist is planning to invest 100s of millions into competitive technology to compete with the top 4 banks as a result of this merger. It is an explicit strategy justifying the merger itself. Wells is a slow motion car wreck. 5 years from now, BAC will look the same as it does today. They can’t acquire, and Brian Moynihan’s conservatism doesn’t inspire any excitement.
Maybe until they executed a half billion dollar merger, the biggest since the financial crisis

How is Capital One different from other banks? Any insight?
Have a really close friend at Bank of America in Charlotte. Seems to love it there and the pay is decent. I would recommend going there.
Looks like Truist and BAC are clear winners from work culture and growth perspective.
