Any firms in the ASC740 provision space that aren’t overworking their teams year round? Just curious if this is the nature of the beast across the board. This is going to sound mean but looking for high performer responses. High performers usually end up in my position of overworking if there’s work so seeing if any of those people have found a good WLB.

Ex-consultant now in marketing. Used to be an avid follower here and got great insights on companies when trying to exit consulting so thought I’d try here for advice. Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? Been feeling very low for a very long time. Working with a Big Four for 7+ years (since graduation) and was excited to join consulting as I get easily bored, wanted to grow at an exponential scale and wanted to travel for work.
