I have seen this a time or two before. While unpopular with participants, it gives the employer the opportunity to keep the cash in their bank account and earning interest throughout the year. It does not sound like much, but it adds up.

That said, I’m not a fan. Not a good message for your population.

Even with a yearly match, compound interest is still working its magic on your savings. It's like a snowball rolling down a hill, gaining momentum and size with every turn.

I need some career advice,
In my current company I think the development portion I've been given is kinda simple, I've asked my manager and seniors to level up my work and stuff, *which they did* but I kinda caught up.. now what should I do, should I ask them to level up again or look for better opportunities
Also, I had some Interest in CyberSecurity and I grinded it on my pre-final semester at Uni, should I try on that path as well or should I stick to development?

529 Plan VERSUS Prepaid

We live in Florida and currently have a Freshman in High School and a 16 month old. We hear from our friends and family with college bound children "I wish we would have done Florida PrePaid." After obviously ignoring this for years, we are finally trying to do it before "it's too late" for both children.

Does anyone have recommendations on which plan to go with for each child? I once did the pros and cons on a whiteboard and it seemed like 529 was better.
