The hidden job market is way bigger than the visible one and I am wondering ... how many of you would actually make an internal referral based on someone contacting you over social media or email?
Intern hire set to start Oct (Healthcare/MC)... All the layoff posts have me a bit concerned, and has me considering other options. Am I overreacting?
My boy is just over 1yo. He likes me way more than his mom, excited to see me, upset when I leave, clings more to me when sick or hurt, even knows what to call me but doesn't say mama. Anyone similar?
Why am I not hearing more about Deloitte layoffs that I know are happening? What is the severance package looking like? Are they doing based on performance? Certain ranks getting hit harder?
Took PTO for a week before start of a new project and SM calls me to not take and support a pursuit. Where do you draw the line to maintain so called N/W? Projects, its hard. No project this happens.
I have several interviews coming up over Zoom for a role at F500 healthcare company. The first meeting the hiring manager was in a polo and I was suit and tie. Went to give my 2 weeks and my company offered me above my offer from Accenture AND a promotion, should I take it?

Currently maxing HSA contributions. Now, if I have a medical expense, like prescription medication or a consultation, should I pay out of pocket, or using my HSA? I know that’s what the HSA is for, but does it make sense to let it grow there in investments to use in the future and pay out of pocket using cash on hand now? Any advice?
How long is a feasible time to reach out to HR regarding job interview outcome i.e. if you proceed to next stage?
I've often heard about the 1/3 rule when it comes to associate comp (you should be making about 1/3 of what you're bringing in). How big of a gap would you expect an associate to tolerate before asking for a change in comp? I'm on track for about a $75,000 gap between 1/3 of my collections and my comp. My firm is technically not lock step but does seem to be defacto lock step. I lateraled April of 2019 from a boutique so I'm unsure how this is generally handled.
