Asking for Big4 equivalent brackets of Senior Consultant/ Senior Associate, and Manager, not sure what the equivalent designations would be. But lets take post MBA 6-8 years of experience as the baseline.

Also, do the knowledge centers have better work life balance compared to frontend consulting?

Working in IT now for the past 10 years as an office systems Admin on €42k. Is this the going rate for IT Systems Admin, essentially all IT functions.

Hey fish, I started recently (within the last year) at post PhD level. I’m thinking about moving into pharma or biotech since I don’t think the ladder in consulting is right for me long term. How long do you need to stay in consulting for before making say 150-200k base in pharma/biotech?

Got a offer from TIAA, Pune location for a Associate role. The variable mentioned is discretionary. When I spoke to the HR, she said it is capped at maximum 10 percent. Can you please let me know what percentage can I expect? What has been the average from past?

This job is a lot better if you don't care about the bonus and hours requirement. I can pretty easily bill 1700 hours annually and my firm so far hasn't cared in the slightest. Worrying about hitting 2000 hours for the bonus used stress me out so much, and I just don't think it's worth it. Base salaries are ridiculous and way more than enough to finance my lifestyle.

I've 2 offers, Please help me choose from following:

1) A large (15K employees) product based company with good culture.
22.5 LPA

2) A small (150+ employees) service based startup company with excellent culture.
17 LPA.

Both the companies are profitable.
