If you make it to senior manager at big four can you leave and become partner or director at mid size firm? Is this hard to do? I know there is a lot of politics at big four and have no interest staying in a senior manager role for 6-8 years and risk a chance of still not becoming partner. Also I got a long way to go before senior manager fyi.

And the other offer has a good pay and good designation (Associate Consultant) rather than the one I choose. Now i feel very low due to this decision that I took. Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?

If I apply to S&, does it matter what location? Currently in HCOL city but I’m open to moving somewhere but idk where. Will this impact pay? Is it easy to change offices? Does it matter which listing I apply to because it’s the same role but different cities? I just don’t know where I want to move to and want flexibility to choose later

Anyone jump from consulting to sales? Mind blown by some of the salaries I've heard. Generally, I have a negative view on sales, just from the slimy salesmen I've dealt with in the past, but I can be wrong. Interested to hear if you've made the jump
