Stay clear of graham crackers — too much impact on blood glucose. I like cheese, salami sticks, nuts, boiled egg, small pack of raspberries, guacamole packs, full fat Greek yogurt packs.
Low-fat cheeses like Laughing Cow, Babybel, and store brand string cheese. Nuts…in particular Emerald brand almonds dusted with a drop of cocoa powder are a treat. And a nutritionist told me that Graham crackers and animal crackers aren’t a bad choice. (I intuitively think these are good choices but haven’t got a clue on glycemic index technicalities though.)
Apple with peanut butter or almond butter
Meat has zero glycemic index. Unfortunately most ready to eat meat is packed with sodium, you just can’t win… still it helps with blood sugar control.

Avoid carbs - try to limit your carbs to 30 gm per day (30 gets hard so I usually keep it to 50). Your only source of carbs should be green vegetables (no carrots, peas, corn etc) and fruits like berries (no apples, oranges, watermelon etc). Get your calories from protein and fats (protein in moderation cause body processes them as sugars if excessive)
Snacks could be berries, cheese, nuts
