My wife told me, when you’re diabetic don’t fast or feast..

I am fairly new diabetic. Have not noticed it. But have seen an increase after a workout

Diabetes is such a complex issue. Yes, working out can temporarily increase BG. Try eating a small carb snack before working out. Otherwise, your pancreas /Liver combo are sensing low BG and pushing glucose out to the blood stream

Is it common to get more and more conservative after highschool? Throughout high school I considered myself a leftist even at one point liking Bernie. But now over time I see myself getting more conservative. ( Not the anti mask/ anti vax kind) I seem to align myself more and more with individuals like Romney. Is this common?

Yoga folks! I used to do yoga and exercise frequently. Things happened, getting back on the wagon. I'd love to work up to a daily practice even if it's just a few mins - but I do need to incorporate other programming as I've got some covid lbs to lose. For those of you who do yoga regularly, wondering how you incorporate and/or balance your practice vs. other types of workouts or if you mostly do strengthening type yoga in that case.

I was recently (in April) fired from a good nursing position that I was at for 5 years. I reached out to my old ADON to get some information on where we had our vaccinations from and she told me that I should come back and the administrator that I had issues with is gone. Is this something I should even consider? I miss my patients and some of my coworkers and the pay is better, but I don't feel like I would really be welcome to come back.

My father is visiting us for 6 months. He takes insulin injections daily . Anyone know good way to get insulin injections to us they need constant refrigeration, or if he can buy them in US.

Does anyone know what vaccinations are looking like? Where to get them and when they’ll be available?

Currently a first year staff in Risk Advisory in a Mid-Tier Firm hoping to move to Big 4 for either Risk or Cyber. When would be the most appropriate time to make the change? I heard that Senior Staff in mid-tier would most likely be hired as an “Experienced Hire” in Big 4. So would it be smarter to make the move now as a first year staff since I’ll be considered Experienced Hire anyway?
