I need honest advice on what salary I could ask for if I look for a new job . Basics- 2 yrs work ex as a senior BA (acn) , MS in engg, aws and azure foundational certs, PSM and PSPO certified , CAPM certified (all from self interest) , and I'm currently earning in the 50s. Hence thinking of a new job. But I have no idea what I can ask for. Thoughts?
What certifications are good for technical project manager? I was thinking to start with PSM and PSPO and then move to ITIL, ITSM. Not sure about this though. Not planning to do PMP as I think it’s more waterfall focused. Was also thinking about AWS. Any other certifications recommended?
If you had a chance to take all of these certs, CSM, PSM, SAFe, PMI ACP, which one them would you do first and why? Thank you
I have seven years of experience in TCS only. Currently I am holding a role in my project as application developer. Along with the technical solution I need to communicate with my client daily basis to make them understand the future scope, automation ideas and application performance report. I do have below skills and a very rich knowledge of telecom domain: Unix (RHEL8 certified from Udemy) AWS (IAM, EC2, S3) Oracle DBA Jira PSM l Devops methodology Looking for good opportunity to work on.
Can someone explain the difference between FB’s Partner Solutions Manager and the Strategic Partner Manager? From an initial recruiter call, it seems the SPM provides the consultative product recs while the PSM onboards the client onto that product and tracks performance to provide actionable recs as needed. Anyone know career growth and salary for these two? I don’t want a sales heavy/only lateral growth role like their client solutions manager roles so these seem like good compromises?
Im someone with a "business" background (supply chain, procurement) that went to work for as a consultant for tech consulting firm after finishing my MBA, but now having trouble finding a project. Got my PSM 1 cert, but not sure what else to do. Not a technical person, never coded. What would you recommend someone in my position to focus on? I'd like to remain on the project management/BA side of the business. TIA!

Current non-technical BA, entering a scrum master role. Have < a month to get PSM certified & will take tech courses to go above and beyond. Can anyone recommend tech topics to learn, & to what depth?

Are there any healthcare/research consulting firms that take F1 visas? I have a talented acquaintance with healthcare and research experience looking for a consulting fit.
After getting promoted in Feb 2020 (lol fml) I designed and implemented a significant piece of data infrastructure that is beyond what’s expected of someone at my level. In 2021, I was not recognized for this accomplishment and a guy who knows nothing about the technology was promoted over me. It’s been a year since his promotion & the wheels are starting to come off: others are becoming increasingly aware of his ineptitude. What’s the best way to subtly pour gasoline on this fire?
Just got a scholarship to take the CAIA L1 in March 2021. Anyone taken it and can offer advice on how to prepare?
Hi all, am wondering how chartered accounting qualifications are viewed in IB? I’m in a role at the moment that is putting me through the ACCA (UK) qualification. Is it worth waiting the 3 years to complete this before applying to entry level IB roles or does it not carry much weight? Thanks

We have our nanny a 10% pay raise in September to mark her two year anniversary with us (amounted to something like $2.50 more per hour). We were expecting (I was seven months pregnant at the time) and I told her it was (1) annual raise but (2) would also cover the fact that she’d be taking care of another baby. This morning she asks us whether we can talk about her raise now that she’ll be watching an extra kid. I awkwardly was like “well that’s what the prior raise covers” and she (contd)

How hard would it be to make the jump from designer to art director? For context, when applying for this job I thought I would be a designer with some ideation opportunities (there are no Junior Art Directors in our creative hierarchy). Craving for more ideation/big-thinking art direction in my next gig.

Considering a mini pivot from growth/performance marketing to a product marketing role and hoping for a gut check from those who have done both. I'm trying to move away from the transactional culture of growth marketing, which feels like a numbers game. I'm also intrigued by product management and user research, but not ready to invest in that bigger leap, so product marketing seems like a half-step to get more exposure to those teams. Am I on the right track here? Any advice on the transition?
I love how strong our talent pool is. I don't love being rated "average". Even though that means on track for promotion, it's annoying.
