Loan payment question. I have two federal loans. One has no accumulated interest and is ~$110k. One has about $19k of accumulated interest (I previously made an embarrassingly low amount of money), but the total is ~$140k. Hi all! Any one have an opinion for average rent for a studio in Oakland / Berkeley/ Sf for a ~30 min commute to Embarcadero area in SF? I’m evaluating a job offer and debating whether it’s worth moving out to there from NYC.

Looking to do a solo trip for about a week somewhere that’s driving distance from San Francisco (anything within ~10 hours) this July/August. Looking for some good hiking and food. Last year I did Bend and it was great!

Any recommendations? Would’ve liked to do Yosemite, but pretty hard to find places to stay at this point.
