What kind of plants and how will they be planted? This isn’t a one-size-fits all.
For a peace lily, basic potting soil will do. You can get it at most flower shops.
Drugs for Plants brand organic fertilizer. Just add it to your watering routine. Has completely changed the quality of my plants.

I like Dyna-Gro Grow and Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro fertilizers. I get the liquid and it's easy to add to your watering can, either with every watering using a maintenance dilution or as a stronger monthly or seasonal addition. Foliage Pro is good for newer plants and cuttings, growing strong roots, longer stems, and plants focusing on growing bigger and more leafy bits. Grow is good for flowering plants. But I think they're both good for general fertilizing as far as I know, and you could just pick one that suits most of the plants you have and use it for everything. There are good articles out there that better explain the differences between the two types, and the numbers on fertilizers that tell you the balance of the ingredients.
For soil, I just get soil from Home Depot or Lowes. I have a lot of succulents and don't want to over water so I tend to get the cactus mix which is supposedly better draining.
